Botswana threatens to send ‘gift’ of 20,000 elephants to Germany

Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi has threatened to send 20,000 elephants to Germany after Berlin decided to limit the imports of hunting trophies. Meanwhile, Botswana also faces Western calls to preserve the endangered mammals despite the overpopulation, which threatens local communities as well as the country's economy.
