Bodycam footage of IDF commandos retaking Sufa outpost near Gaza border

Israel's Defense Forces (IDF) have released footage of its elite ‘Shayetet 13’ unit retaking the Sufa outpost near the Gaza security fence on October 7, 2023. The special forces unit, the Israeli equivalent of US Navy SEALS, stormed the compound under covering fire, clearing out the building interiors with fragmentation grenades.

According to a statement released by the IDF, the operation resulted in the rescue of 250 hostages, killed over 60 Hamas militants, and apprehended 26 more, including Muhammad Abu A’ali, the Deputy Commander of the Hamas Southern Naval Division.
