@bigintol03: Have you ever seen the idiot womens youthful rejuvination creams that remove 99% of fine visible wrinkles..... There is a very old observation technique, used on many things since the dawn of time.... It's called CONTOUR sighting or contour photography etc.. like finding high and low spots by sighting along something, or if the light is shining just above, but along the surface, the high areas light up and the sunken areas are unlit... It was also used in arial photography in WW1 - to find and photograph the enemies advances and works... i.e. the tunnel needed it's dirt removed, and the dirt would make a heap, and if the sun was JUST coming over the horizon, the top of the dirt heap would light up and everything around it would be darker... and there might even be a shadow... e.g. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--Sma....7cFTs18/VffSFxvRXqI/ The same thing works on womens wrinkly OLD faces in harsh bright sunlight..... This is why AOC looks so good with TONS of make up on, under NICE even studio lighting - well she did a few years back... and if you stick her in broad daylight - like getting a false arrest and pretending to wear hand cuffs, she looks like complete shit. Same with this old broad... if you go high resolution and full screen, and go frame by frame, at particular angles, the sunlight shows up the tops of the wrinkles and the crevasses are unlit.. makes everything look way worse....

@bigintol03: If you look carefully at this picture... you can see the N with an arrow on it, that's north, the sun rises to the right - in the east, and you can see the area of trenches that have been filled in by artillery fire... and the freshly redug or unhit areas of trenches, and it's all on a small rise, and you can see the slightly darker areas on the south west part of the photograph... See with the sun rise photographs - some details only show up within a minute or so of an exact time... some have a 3 or 4 or 5 minutes... or 10 minutes... or 20 or 30 minutes, but the crews and the command, figured out from experience and from triangulation and navigational techniques what the absolute best time was to be taking the photograph over the target was. https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6jm....N_cHd7CM/WWG4Y4IgGnI
