@TheRedKnight: We need to keep in mind how much most people extremely underestimate Satan's power. He was made "perfect" in every way by The Creator, was one of the three "covering cherubs" (along with Michael and Gabriel). He (for now) is still "the god of this world" (2Cor. 4:4), bc The Creator appointed him that position. Of course later, for whatever reason, iniquity was found in him (Ezek. 28:15-17). This is the spirit who tried to take The Creator's Throne, and was kicked out of Heaven for his trouble (Rev. 12:7-10). Humans will NOT be able to take out this being. Only God's annointed Ones will have the Authority, at a time of His choosing. The Creator's using the Adversary to bring us closer to Him. That's His immediate goal. After that, we can expect things to get infinitesimally better. I agree, the walls are getting thinner, to bring us closer to Him. For whom it will work, is up to that person. JMO.
