I remember when George Bushes (idiot one) vice president came to Australia, and I had no idea / didn't give a shit..... and anyway, his motorcade was leaving Melbourne Victoria Australia, heading out through Essendon, on the freeway, to Tullamarine airport....
AND I was heading back into Melbourne, and I went up and over the overpass, 30 or so seconds before the Vice Prresidents motorcade was about to come along and pass underneath it.
AND right at the very part of the overpass that the motorcade was about to go under, my (slowish) ancient Harley's tool bag full of special antique vehicle type tools, fell off and landed on the road......
So I hung a U turn and went back to get it....
And the stupid cop guarding the over pass said, "Oh you can't stop here!"
I said, "I can so, it's my fucking road and it's my fucking country - not his!" - pointing at the VP's motorcade.
AND to this very day I wish to god I had of run over to the edge of the overpass and pissed on the motorcade as it went under the overpass......

As far as I can tell humanity is facing two choices and neither are palatable. The worst thing is I think humanity will take the worse out of the two. There's a Chinese proverb that says "May you live in interesting times". I'm coming to understand the full meaning of that.
