a little funny story the first time when my brother in-law from DR came to America, we were doing an fire in our backyard as an out door activity, and we invited him and said it was going to be an group activity kind of party. and his reaction was that he didn't want to go because he associated it with what they do in the DR when it came to getting rid of their trash lol.

he thought it was weird that we were doing it for fun because we would share stories and all chat while the fire was going on.

so yeah he thought we were having some kind of weird burning the trash party, because of how ppl in the DR do it to get rid of their trash lol. he didn't understand that this was an bonding type of thing that ppl did in America.

so i could understand the water near the beach feeling smelling trashy because they literally burn their trash next to the ocean lol. but i understand in their country why they do it is because they don't have anywhere to put it as there isn't any room for an landfill, so the next best thing to do is to burn it, unless they have one of those barges that is meant to hold trash that comes by to take the trash out of the island.

but a lot of poor ppl in the DR, and when my sister was living in the DR with him, she found out the hard way, how bad it was living there because they had rolling blackouts all the time and the tap water was not good, she would have to by bottled water so she wouldn't get sick off of the tap water, they would have to collect power through batteries when the blackouts would happen all the time, they both while living there were considered as middle class or rich to most everyone else on the island.

he is kind of a blue pilled cuck though, he was doing well financially, he was some kind of bank auditor. well one day his mother asked him to purchase a house for her, and for months he was saving that money in order to leave to America, and instead of leaving to go to America he bought the house for his mother, she didn't even need him to purchase the house for him. because the man who she was married to was an wealthy man, but he did it anyway and this set him back a few years before he could move to America.

and then he finds out that the house he bought for his mother was sold to him illegally somehow, like wtf is up with that country?

i can only think of one reason why he bought that house in the first place, so after she dies he can use it to rent out as it would be an asset. but being scamed like that is soo fucked.

It's funny how decent quality became a premium so that cost cutting low quality could become the standard, meanwhile premium became a luxury.Obviously not just with coffee, but also in overall goods and services.

Questions: how do you order anything there if no one speaks English as stated in one of your videos? And how do you trust getting anything in the restaurants if it comes into question that the Dominican Republic's standards of health are lower than the U.S.'s (how do you know if the cup is clean enough to drink from)?

You need a bigger cup. If you look after it, it will last several life times. http://www.zebra-head.com.my/i....ndex.php?route=produ The company makes great gear, but they are totally shit at internatitonal sales and distribution. I don't know about the USA, so here in Australia you can only get them in the Asian supermarkets, and seemingly only on a lucky dip basis... They are worth every cent, as I have had my 10 or 11cm mug for something like almost 30 years. I actually want to get the 12 or 14cm one, as I tend to drink a lot of water....
