A local Police station threatened with closure set's about uppuing their arrest's and convictions as they basically don't have any. i n the process they unwittingly get involved with doing local smugglers work for the in a small seaside town. Classic comedy, B/w, 1938 I think? Stars will Hay, Moor Marriott and Graham Moffatt as the classic bumbling trio.

It's close, except it lacks the headless horsman and the court scene with deaf grandfather...... Also missing is the scenes at the cove and cave in the cliff at low tide etc.,
Remembered for his comedy films will Hay was also a prominent "Astrologer@ and discovered and had a constipation named after him. He is buried in South London cemetery and his grave was forgotten for years, until back in the 1980's I think it was it was discovered and a monument by fan's was erected at the grave. Buried opposite his grave is that of singer Ivor Novello, and two rows back behind Will Hays grave is that of Desmond Dekka, the Ska Music reggae artist.
