ARMY RECRUITMENT ADS : THAILAND -vs- SOUTH-KOREA -vs- JAPAN [PART 8]

1 thing these 3 countries have in common.
They all are the US allies in the far east & the US gave them their stipend.
But then Thailand just gotta be edgy & decided to become a military dictatorship like their friends next door so Papa & 'Merica ain't giving that almighty Dollars anymore!

Actually I find the Thai ad to be particularly hilarious. It tends to show up when the country is in protest. Last time I saw it, was when the current dic(k)tator insulting & yelling at news reporters who asked him if he'll start a coup. Funny yet, Thai history also shows the military can't run the country at all, so how do the Thais enjoy 7 yrs of economic recession now? Well, don't let the dic(k)tator heard you say that, you'll make him feel sad lol.

Also, the Eng sub is off, I wonder if it's off on purpose because the original is borderline cringe & doesn't shame the people on the bus enough.

0:49 “You must’ve forgotten that’s a fairy tale” (Well I don't know, I remember the military & promotes the idea of godly king & divine saviour. then you blame the people for doing exactly what you wanted them to think?).
I don't think Thai people in general likes the military that much. They are notorious for using their ranks to abuse people.
