The types of injections are: intradiscal, intrafacet, intraligament, or epidural? Look for those words in your paperwork. If the injections are intradiscal, I think those are at higher risk. Please talk to your doctor about this before you do it.

I am not saying to get the PRP and I am not saying to not get the PRP.... I tend to remain skeptical until proven otherwise. I would tend to go for deep tissue massage to ease out the muscle spazams, and maybe a light analgesic - like 2 aspins a day, for a little pain relief and to get blood flowing around a little bit easier and AFTER consulting with a remedial sports injury type practitioner, to do LIGHT and gentle specific exercises to encourage stretching and mobility.... BUT ask competent experts on the subjects - because SOME things might take time to heal, somethings can be improved with some help, and other things can be made worse with the wrong kind of help applied in the wrong ways...

AND some experts are REALLY good, and some experts are fucking idiots, arseholes and butchers.

My opinion is that UNLESS they can supply FACT and EVIDENCE BASED reports that this treatment is effective for these conditions - under these circumstances, much of this sounds like hocus pocus medical money making bullshit.... Demand studies from the recommending agency that this treatment WORKS, and demand studies from the TREATING agency that this treatment works, make sure "after the fact" that these are independent reports and verifiable outcomes..... SO much medical reporting is little more than bullshit hearsay and half baked results... e.g. "A high percentage of patients report favourable outcomes and significant improvements" ---- Who did the studies? Were their reports verified? How many people were evaulated? What is their definitions for evaluating, AND for "significant improvements" and "favourable outcomes"? It can be as bullshit as they only claim to have asked 5 or 6 people, and it was the local anasthetic that they gave at the time, along with the platelets, that reduced the severity of the symptoms, and , they were not followed up in terms of every 3 months, and the improvement of the condition, and the ability to move more freely in a significantly pain free way - was never evaluated. A LOT of these medical reports are done by half witted scam artists....
