To me Christianity has a huge hidden fact - Jesus never wasted any time with women/girlfriends/wife. He wanted to remain pure. He knew. God created man. Satan created women as the counterpart of Good/Evil balance.

Think of it this way - Fallout 3. Who would be useful in Megaton as a citizen? A working man with tools or Jordan P in Pre-war Business Wear who would try to be the town mayor and steal from the poor in taxes? Sadly in real life most people are easily Speech-checked like NPCs.
