American observers of Russian elections threatened by US govt - election monitor

American observers who oversaw the recent Russian Presidential election are reportedly being threatened by the US government. The allegation is according to Sweden-based professor Greg Simons, an American who took part in the poll as a monitor.

We spoke to Greg Simons, and he says the threats coming from Washington are unprovoked, as being an observer at an election is not a crime.
