America Now | President Trump warns US can face similar problem
Most Americans have never heard of this small Spanish territory on the coast of North Africa called Ceuta. But, what happened there last week may have more to do with Washington than most people realize. Last week Ceuta was overrun by between fifty and sixty thousand migrants who surged toward the border in a single weekend. As a result, more than eighty people died, some drowned, others were crushed during a stampede and just like that, you had a crisis sending shockwaves not just across Europe, but also here in the United States. President Trump used the crisis as a warning about the U.S. immigration policy. But inside Europe the debate looks different. 22 EU leaders claimed outrage and signed a letter criticizing Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. America Now's Ben Swann talks to Harrison Smith, host of ‘The War Room’ on the Alex Jones Network about the situation. Plus, a new Senate report says some of the world's biggest banks failed to alert the government in time about suspicious financial activity tied to Jeffrey Epstein. America Now's Jalyssa Dugrot has that story. And, is this real? Is President Trump really promoting a new book by Alan Dershowitz after everything surrounding the Epstein case?
