America Now | October 7: Full exposure

It was three years ago today that the world watched as Hamas launched the October 7th attack on Israel. Official reports say that more than 1,200 people were killed and 251 people taken hostage. You've seen so much news coverage of this event called one of the deadliest days in Israel's history, even Israel's own 9/11. And what followed would devastate Gaza. Israel responded with a massive military campaign, airstrikes, a ground invasion, and years of war that goes on to this day. Vast areas of Gaza were reduced to rubble. Nearly the entire population at this point has been displaced. Tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed, and the questions tonight that remain unanswered. How did Hamas pull off an attack of that scale against one of the most sophisticated security states in the world? Israel's own investigations have since documented catastrophic intelligence and military failures. So the question tonight is not whether or not Israel failed. We now know that it did. The question is, did Israel intentionally fail to create a reason for such an aggressive response into Gaza?
