The Pentagon has now confirmed a third American death from last week's attack on a U.S. base in Jordan. Twenty-eight-year-old sergeant Angel Rampersad of New York was listed as missing. He is now believed dead.

That makes three Americans killed in a single strike in Jordan — add that to another service member who was killed days ago in Iraq during the detonation of an Iranian drone.
