One of TV's greatest tragedies was the cancelation of "Married: With Children". During an interview with Ed O'Neal, he said he was joking around on set with costar Amanda Hearse (Marcy Darcy), who was a lesbo in real life. They were supposedly a tight knit group, since they'd been doing the show for a number of years, but whatever he said really triggered her, and Ed was "disinvited" from her lesbian wedding.
Personally I think he dodged a bullet.
