Hey, I got a question for you: There's an anime with an "immortal knight" later disgraced who turned out to be a part of a group of androids powered by "Philisophers' stones" to fight demons. He talked to one demon who wrote a book, which he reads later seeing the flashbacks, and he works for the Demon Queen he defeated after man betrayed him. He helps the Demon Lords become more powerful. The Demon Queen wants a Philopher's Stone to save, er regenerate Hell to become more earth like. He tries to sacrifice himself because he's powered by one. Anyway, I can't remember the name of it...
