As he dies she reveals that the ritual to summon him required that she kill 200 people on her side of the portal and 200 people on his side of the portal including all his friends and family. After dying he discovers that he has a skill called Tutorial Mode which time loops him back to the day he was 1st summoned with all his memories of everything the princess did to him. This results in him going insane and he proceeds to murder all the princess's guards, strip her naked, and then use a knife to carve a literal declaration of war on the entire world in her skin. The entire rest of the series focusses on him and his equally insane revenge obsessed allies(like Minalis) taking their revenge on the entire world in multiple very brutal ways.
