Don't forget to coat the wood in LANOLIN - every 4 or 5 floor moppings, to prevent wood rot.

pretty sure that is faux steel, usually a metal coating over cheap plastic...
even when it is metal, it is either shit steel or aluminum...

no matter what it is those tiny handle broom/mops snap like twigs...

Most of the handles these days are VERY thin steel strip rolled into a tube, and I recall they are seam welded, like pressure pack spray can.... AND it does NOT take much to buckle the tube...... It's just strong enough to swish the mop head across the floor and that is it...... More cheap shit from China. If you use the mop a few times, then the sponge rubber head, dries out into being a sponge rubber brick, that gets hard and powdery.... and takes ages to soak up water, and then it starts breaking apart. They are CRAP.

AND if they don't snap... from being SO thin, they rust through - so fucking easily.
