Re your It made me think you just don't talk to people you believe are in the lower classes as you speak of this in your intro of your physics videos If you have a Prof Dr in front of hour name in math, physics, computing, youre brighter than 99+% of people, so boredom protection is always a feature.

@profhugodegaris: You may enjoy the double split experiment . In short - light and matter can display characteristics of both classically defined waves and particles . Moreover ,It displays fundamentally probabilistic nature of quantum mechanical phenomena .

@profhugodegaris: re boredom protection . I can appreciate this sentiment . I don't think I'm smarter then 99% of other people in general But I to get frustrated trying to talk to a large portion of the populous .

@Bagoodman: I don't know if this is to much. But from the double slit experiment you can deduce that anything you look at you are manipulating. I think they call this the observer effect. I also think from a recent study that our noses work by vibrating the molecule we are smelling and then using quantum mechanics to identify it, i think that's how we figure out how similar molecules smell different. Given that logic, that our bodies use quantum mechanics to do things such as smell. I think we could assume that our brain also uses quantum to mechanics for various tasks. Maybe quantum mechanics is even required to achieve conscieness..

@Bagoodman: I think that theory is actively being debated. I don't think Im smart enough to find the real truth. But I don't buy the explanation that we use receptor + memory to identify the molecule.
