Two more horrific cases involving mothers and their children are fueling fears about a Lindsay Clancy copycat effect.
South Carolina mother Justine May is accused of starving her two young daughters to death. Court documents say she described the previous two weeks as a “blur,” while a worried relative had reportedly referenced the Clancy case before the girls died.
The other case involves Taylor Gosnell, who is accused of attacking her three- and six-year-old children. Neither woman has been convicted, and investigators have not established that either case was inspired by Lindsay Clancy.
