Some of his shortcuts ARE really good....

Some of them - I don't like them at all.

Gluing the stair rails, onto the step surfaces, instead of cutting slots in the steps and hand rails for the baulister to lock into.

Yes the glues can be immensely strong... but they are prone to fail over the long term.... I think as an accessory bonding component - they are an excellent idea.

But as a shitty "by it's self" short cut... Naaaa

Also he is good, fast and cheap - but he is not using traditional wood working methods of "proper joints" - it's just gluing and filler and shit..... Be wary of this guy - in the sense look for what he is doing a good job on, and him making shitty short cuts - that are compromises in terms of safety, durability and strength.
