It's another world and I knew I had to be careful the 3 first days I was in Bangkok.. Especially on Xmas eve, I ended up with a girl in the Nana Nightclub.. And dude.. You could tell that many guys in this nightclub were Mafia members, the guys working in that nightclub as well.. I have some street knowledge and could tell who was who in that nightclub.. There was even the owner of a bar in Nana Plaza, my girl told me that becaused she used to work in his gogo bar.. It scared me a little bit.. Nothing happened I just took a room for me and the girl after that.. Then when I reached my hotel I went to the roof of the hotel and lighted a joint to meditate in detail about that night.. I realized I could have had problems, things didn't feel right, bad energies etc.. Since that day I never went back to NANA.. Only hanged around ASOK and mostly Patpong and other areas in Bangkok.. First time I went to soi Cowboy nothing happened I just passed by.. second time I went there to take pint and enjoy the place.. And there it started the bill scam.. They litteraly added 3 vodkas on my tab.. So I called the waitress and told her that I just arrived 5 min ago and that its not possible.. Luckily an american I met there.. Talked to the waitress and confirmed that I just arrived and it was a mistake.. They agreed to give me the right tab.. But man you could see in the eyes of the waitress that she lost face and it would have ended badly... Dangerous places, especially if you are alone.. I avoided soi cowboy after that + nana plaza.. Just went in the surroundings.. like soi 4 etc.. and that's it.. Pattaya felt more safe..

@Doggk: I worked in Bangkok for a short time and hated it, although back then Soi cowboy and Nana Plaza were great places not so dodgy but fun, but times change. On the surface things seem fun but stay long enough and you notice the underworld everywhere

@SoloMan Zone: Bangkok is noisy, I can understand.. I didn't sleep well there.. Too much noise.. Unfortunately the presence of the underworld is so obvious there.. When I was back, I made some researches.. And found so much stories of tourist getting scammed, threatened by the local mafia.. Some people just deserved what happened to them.. But some were innocent.. And the drunk low IQ bar girls are the ones who might put you in big trouble just because they're drunk.. I heard a story of a dude who got the tab scam.. He went to the waitress and told her that there was a mistake.. And paid for the drinks he had and the moment he walked out the bar. That girl started hittinh him with her high heel, she hit him the first time in the head.. Mamasan got involved and problem was solved.. But dude had bad injuries on his head.. Fortunately the high heel didn't went through his skull.. At that moment I realized I was so lucky.. and smart enough to check my tab after every order and took the habbit to pay directly after my order.. To avoid unnecessary drama and accidents..

@Doggk: They get away with the bar tab scam because usually not that much, but it adds up over time. To bars a falang is a walking credit card and also to the bar girls. You do meet nice femons at the bars but they usually haven't worked the bar long as all of them change over time

Remember everything in Thailand is in flux, so just enjoy the moment, its not for long time

@SoloMan Zone: Well I've got myself one from a gogo bar in Patpong.. And you could see that she was new.. She had strong principles.. Told me upfront : NO SEX !!.. I said all right lets eat something when you finish your shift.. We became good friends, she made me discover new place and restaurants.. And we plan little trips together when I'll be back there.. We talk and flirt regularly on video calls.. So long time is somehow possible.. But you 're right.. at the end of the day you're in the west and she is there.. Who knows what she does behind your back.. Most of the time all these girls are short term pleasure.. Nothing more.. But man I'm too romantic for Thailand hahahaa.. I always like to keep in touch with them.. It's a smart tactic.. Next time I'll be there.. No need to look for girls like the first time.. I've already mines waiting for me.. We know each other.. Had our special moments.. And it's a better option for me personally.. I looked for short and long term relationships.. And i'm glad I did so.. Because what's left over my trip are all the serious women I met there.. Everytime I feel depressed, just a call gives me motivation.. and that's an awsome feeling.. Who knows where it might lead us in the future.. It's gamble but life is a gamble when it comes to such things..
