Doggk, do you think there is something sacred about living close to the earth like this? Something spiritual? In some Celtic magick or craft, there is a belief that living, communing on the earth say of a given location for generations, ages kind of infuses the energy, the magick between the inhabitants and he earth-- kind of like a bond but weaker. Obviously, there are many that dispute this, even the magick itself exists. As for me, I think the simpler living, in touch with Nature and the lack of "lies" is what allows them to live heartfully, atoned spiritually. So, energy is energy, some kinds are different. If quantum mechanics taught us anything, it is you create what you search for, but most don't reach this understanding. "Magick" I think is connecting those energies to a will, like connecting circuits with the power, the electrons flowing through them once connected. Anyway, it makes a good theory for fantasy novels.
