The idea that voting still meaningfully changes anything gets pulled apart here, because once you accept that the same interests sit behind both sides, you’re left choosing between managed outcomes rather than real alternatives, and the conversation shifts from who to vote for to whether the system itself needs to be rebuilt entirely. Styx hasn't posted in 6 days now. On his twitter he claims it's PC problems, again. I'm not sure I buy this. He just got that PC fixed, or so he claims, and now it's again having problems? In addition, from what I read he grifts to buy a new PC on the regular, so it shouldn't even be a particularly old PC, so what gives? Why is Styx seemingly giving up on posting content? Did the internet, and all the criticism break him, even though he claims not to care?
Saudi geopolitical analyst Salman al-Ansari joins the program to discuss the UAE’s reported move away from OPEC, its timing, and what it means for global energy markets.
He argues that the decision should not be overstated, saying OPEC’s real weight remains with Saudi Arabia, Russia, and other major producers. Al-Ansari also frames the move as political rather than economic, discusses Saudi Arabia’s role in stabilizing energy markets, and explains how regional tensions with Iran may shape Gulf priorities.
Putin issued an extreme warning to Trump during a two-hour call as the US blockade of the Strait of Hormuz drives oil to new highs, crushes global food supply, and fractures alliances. Colonels Douglas McGregor and Daniel Davis break down whether America has already lost its strategic goals in Iran and what comes next.

The World Bank is warning that energy prices could rise by a further 24% this year as tensions around the Hormuz Strait continue and the UAE prepares to leave OPEC and OPEC+. In this interview, Iranian economist, wealth manager and author Peyman Molavi explains how the Hormuz crisis, inflation, central bank policy, sanctions on Iran, and Abu Dhabi’s shift away from OPEC could affect global energy markets. He also discusses whether Iran and the United States need to return to negotiations, why the UAE may be seeking more freedom over oil pricing and production, and what BlackRock’s interest in the UAE could signal about the region’s economic future.

The United Arab Emirates is leaving the OPEC and OPEC+ alliances of oil-producing nations.
The Gulf state says the move was motivated by its own national interests, and would actually help meet growing global energy demand in the long term, when it boosts its production capacity.
The UAE has been a member of the group for over half a century, having joined in 1967. Abu Dhabi is one of the world's leading oil producers, with an output of more than 4 million barrels per day. The exit decision could cause further disruption to energy markets, as Gulf states face major shipping challenges amid Iran's retaliatory actions in the Strait of Hormuz.
To discuss this, we speak with Mohammad Al-Sabban, former senior adviser to the Saudi energy minister.

In this video, we go through the white house correspondence dinner assassination attempt to consider if it was staged or real. The ballroom propaganda and some irregularities raise some questions that they probably don’t want you to ask.
The King of England and the King of Trolls. King Charles III visited the White House yesterday and spoke to Congress. The Left all stood and clapped for the King of England. Then they got mad at a tweet. When it comes to involvement in foreign countries, America just can’t win. If we help, we’re imperialist, if we don’t help, we’re also bad somehow? Either way, Zambia has AIDS and somehow that’s America’s fault. Al Gore was wrong about climate change, but he’s back with a new warning. How much is it going to cost us this time?

Five people have been killed and two injured in a pair of Israeli airstrikes on a building in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese officials. Among the dead were three rescue workers who had reportedly been searching for survivors and evacuating the wounded after the initial attack. Lebanese officials condemned the strike as a violation of international and humanitarian law. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies says the humanitarian situation in Lebanon remains dire, with around 1.2 million people displaced and many struggling to access shelter, food, water, and healthcare. Tommaso Della Longa of the IFRC joins the program from southern Lebanon to discuss the risks facing aid workers, the worsening displacement crisis, and why international support is urgently needed.
