🔥 Wahhabism's War on the Sunni Legal Schools (Hanbali, Hanafi, Shafii, Maliki)

Wahhabism is an attack on Sunni Islam. Daniel Haqiqatjou explains in depth how Wahhabism's standards of shirk require making takfir of all the Sunni legal schools and their scholars. The video brings the statements of Ibn Abd al-Wahhab and compares it to the major scholars of the Sunni legal schools (madhhabs).

Daniel also responds to contemporary Wahhabis, like Farid al-Bahraini, who label him a "shirk apologist." Daniel shows that, if these Wahhabis were intellectually consistent and morally honest, they would apply the label "shirk apologist" to many, if not all, of the great Sunni scholars of history. Daniel challenges them to be consistent. The fact that they are not consistent proves that the Wahhabi concern for "aqida" testing their opponents is about politics, not religious concerns.

The presentation goes in-depth on the Wahhabi understanding of shirk and its incoherence. Specific attention is paid ot the topic of tawassul and istighatha. Daniel presents the arguments from the Sunni legal schools on these issues, with numerous citations.

Daniel also addresses the Wahhabi claim that they follow the Hanbali school of thought. In reality, Wahhabis also must consider Hanbalism to be full of shirk and shirk apology. Furthermore, historical evidence shows that Ibn Abd al-Wahhab himself rejected the Hanbali school.

Ultimately, the presentation shows how Wahhabism is at war with orthodox Sunni Islam. Daniel ends the video with an important message for Salafis who are confused about whether to follow Ibn Abd al-Wahhab or Sunnism, i.e., Ahl al-Sunna wa-l-Jama'a.
