Having a dog satisfies wahmen's maternal instinct with the least amount of responsibility.
Problem is, they don't have a man to set boundaries so the dog is usually a pain in the ass: jumps on visitors, sleeps in the bed with her, craps on the floor, doesn't follow commands.
