I was going to say when my parents went a couole days without power in the dead winter, my dad moved their grill into the garage and he smoked while making coffee off his gas grill and they cooked inside the garage too on that grill. Threw logs in the fireplace to stay warm...They had to go to their kids apartments or houses to shower. I hav er a gym membership... so gym shower... a couple days later I lost power-- a brach fell off the tree and knocked the power cable off. Thank God that apartment had a fireplace.

@DIOSUNBALLZ_TALICHAD: You should cut the wood about a year before so it matures before you burn it or build with it. My understanding is it shrinks and when it's fresh cut, there a smoking factor or something when you burn it.
