Amr maybe the bar scene is just kind of sketchy area in general if you're being offered drugs? I have heard hooka pipe is not unhealthy but i am just not interested. My parents met at a nightclub, I do not consider that an option for myself. I am just not interested in women or dating at all period. white man here.

If I do move to Europe I want to be somewhere safe, sounds like Romania so far is the best bet.

Hungary was invaded by Turkish tribes and Hun tribes from the step from 5th to 8th century, no wonder Hungary had many Turkish people !

In Romania there are plenty of Muslims - Turks, Tatars, etc. in Dobrogea, towns like Babadag. Plenty of Turks live in Bulgaria too There are also Christian Gagauz Turks in South Moldova. They have their own autonomous region there. However, these lived there since the Ottoman Empire. Most Turks you meet in big cities are first or second generation immigrants from Turkey.

It's a funny thing, how people from THE place, say the name and spell the name of the place, differently to the people from other places. I think Budapest, is said, Budda-Pesht. Kind of like Munchen in Germany, is said, Munich. And Turkey is spelled Turqie (?) by the Turks. I wish the languages were done, as they ARE done, and not adapted - it enriches the languages.

Our language is pretty unique, making learning in both directions pretty hard. :D Hungarian is probably the hardest out of all languages with a latin script. Turks and Finns have a smaller problem with it, considering we share grammar rules to an extent.

@csehszlovakze: Yeah - I have always been kind of pissy about the issue of ^^This is how THE people from THAT country SAY it and SPELL IT, so why are WE being told to SAY it and SPELL it completely differently?^^ ***** Budapest (/ˈbuːdəpɛst, -pɛʃt/, Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈbudɒpɛʃt]) = ʃ = sounds like SH as in ^^ship ^^ I mean there are all sorts of details in the languages issues - but even fairly CLOSE translations in the spelling from sound to sound, needs to be sharpened up... Budapesht sounds like it is said.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: What you usually mean by "S" is actually written "Sz" in Hungarian. :)

@csehszlovakze: Ahhh the little initicacies of languages.... You need a clear ear to listen to the words of a clear speaker. BudapeSht is actually BudapeSzt. It's a detail to listen for. Grammar rules, however are necessary, but most people don't do a very good job of using them, and language is always evolving. People in Australia, generally say "Straya" or "Ah-straya". People in New Zealand pronounce, "Fish and Chips" as "Fush und Chups", and they think we sound like Mexicans because according to some of them, we say, "Feeesh and Cheeeps"... And a lot of Americans cannot understand Australians, so they speak with a fake American accent....

I saw a lot of Arabs there selling souvenirs and such. Budapest is a bit pricey compared to rural areas but still relatively cheaper than some other countries in the region.

The Olaszliszka lynching shows why you do not drive in foreign countries. Maybe the driver was a native Hungarian in that case, but as an American I would have no idea that could happen in Hungary. In the US, if you drive in a black area then yes I could believe it. But really there is no reason to drive into a black area unless you are lost or looking to buy drugs.

@Alpha Male Lifestyle: Yeah weed and coke.... Bad news. One of the big bullshit trips in the drug culture is that "Weed - dope smokers are not psycho like all the drunks" - yeah well that may be true to some extent, but their brains become drug fucked and impaired. AND even small amounts of weed cause brain damage - then you get people saying it's NON addictive.. Oh fuck.... REALLY - there are plenty of people hooked on that shit and there are also plenty of people who get personality disorders and mental illness out of it.
