Why do some men lose attraction to their wives after having a child?⁠

Men "lose interest" in their wives after a kid because the kid is now taking a larger portion of both their lives. Men are emotionally mature enough to understand this. Women don't understand that there are only so many hours in a day.

My experience was she wanted to be "mom" and all of her attention was to nuture the child and not want to be frisky. So, all the attention was to the baby,. However when the child was about 4 or so she wanted to get the previous attention. By that time I was content with my pastime of being a gym rat and didn't seek to service her need as mine had been avoided/ignored. It seems women always want to have their cake and eat it too! They have to learn what goes around comes around. If they can't handle those two relationships at one time then don't get into that position, simple and effective.
