I actually know someone who experienced something similar except it was self-inflicted. The handle fell off a pot he was boiling water in and instead of dropping it and getting out of the way he thought he could catch it. Well he caught all right, he caught it with his groin area. He had to wear a bandage that looked like a homemade diaper. Needless to say he isn't that intelligent although he was entertaining.
