When the lights go out!

Are YOU ready in the UK for when the lights go out? I am. I've got food and cooking solved, I got lighting, and as the PC will be down as well I have alternative entertainment in Book's and walking and other satuff like maiking and repairing even by LED battery lamps or candles. In fact I find silver li9nings in most thingsa that are forced on us. Just maybe after the blackouts I may find I don't really need the internet to live my life either? Now theirs a thought TALK TALK! lol! I've sorted out a big pile of loose fitting layers of clothing so I can use my own human thermostat to keep warm or cool down. I also have an Acoustic Guitar or 6! I have battery Clocks so I will know when the lights are going off and coming on! lol!

Many years ago well decades I attended an adult college for the Blind and although I'm NOT blind I did also learn outside of the daily business studies how to move around in the dark very well as it happens so lighting even now at home isn't an issue because I rarely use it. The 21 inch screen from the PC is enought o light my kitchen and living room whilst the power is still on as well. I have battery and rechargeable music and viseo gadgets so a mnovie or album or two can still be watched in the winter darkness!
