Weird behaviour of holier-than-thou EV drivers

I know this is MGTOW TV, but I'm not averse to posting a womens comment if it's logical or funny. Katie Hopkin's makes this observatioin about how useless EV's and their owners are at a local charging point near her local supermarket. Kind of sum's up thet the EV thing is harooned in the water before it even starts! A queue of EV's waiting to charge on an already FULL charging point. I mean how FUCKING Stupid do you have to be to wait hours to charge a white plastic car in the hot summer heat, not to mention their ignoprance and arrogance of not noticing they are holding every one else up waiting to park their efficient combustion engined vehicles! lol! I mean I'm 66 now and been breathing the air full of socalled polutants for decades before any clean air crap came along and I'm Really jealthy for my age!

And how long does it take to charge a car compared to filling up with gas? What happens when "the powers" turn the grid off? I think its time for me to buy a diesel generator on a trailer, sit in a parking lot, hang out at a rest stop on the highway, parking lot at the lake, and charge for a charge...CASH ONLY! Pay off the generator in no time.

When you have the government pushing for something, you know it's not good for you. If it is being shoved down your throat, someone is making money off of it, and it's not you.

This whole EV think is a blind alley toward control via the back door, as well as a money spinner via idiot's and those easily sold a pup! In the UK they keep saying "No more combustioin engines from 2030 on" - What they don't say is that only "PRODUCTION of combustion engines will stp. They are not and just cannot stop the use of a combustion engine just like that. Besides they need all the poluting oilc and plastic's companies to make these EV's. Did you also know a Wind Generator has to be started by a Diesel combustion engine to get it to work from cold.

The thing you can't rule out is expansion of these charging stations in the future. Seems a little knee-jerk atm.

I was a "nah" man on electric cars for a long time. Then I was a "go for it" idiot. Now I just know this technology is NOT the future.

They wiull need entire Parking lots full of chargers and only 8 years to put the infrastructure in? I think thius is FEAR orn and we already see france reopening coal power stations to cover the extra usage in the cost of living chrsis. The UK is a dinosaur out of touch with everyone else. every alternative I find to this shit will mean I wont be returning to it if my alternative life style works.

@The Man Inside: As an alternative travel option it's fine if complimented by I CE's. Cars today have never been so clean. This is all about control and money making and nothing else. and it IS going to fail, I can just feel it in my being this is going to fail big time.

@mrghoster: let me just ask you this. I know you're into motorcycles. I'm sure you have ridden motorcycles without electronics at all. I have. And cars with very few electronics. Have you ever seen an electric car or motorcycle, overboard, Segway, whatever, without electronics? Yes, there were electric cars without electronics 100 years ago. I know how to make it work. In your opinion is there any manufacturer that will build such cars? Cars that once out the door, the manufacturer has no control over it whatsoever? I petrol engine is stupid easy to convert to carburetor. A diesel not so much, attaching a mechanical high pressure fuel pump, and mechanical injectors is just easier to get a petrol engine.
