I don't see much hope for UK, or Ireland or Germany. The clearly intentional steps taken against the people.
Who is profiting though... and who leads those who are profiting... Saturate the area with undesirables, lower prices, induce flight, purchase land, eliminate gimme-dats (foreigners go home) start enforcing the laws (to raise property value once more) have the entire population renting... forever slaves to the whims of those who control the land...
Servitude in perpetuity... not with a bang but with a whimper.
in all honesty... all people who pay taxes are slaves to one extent or another. Illusion of freedom sure is nice; at the end of the day, it comes down to:
"Is the cheapest corrupt, judge, congressman, senator, law enforcement personnel, affordable enough to the person asking?"
*** It's entirely possible that has all changed; that the interim government is obligated to keep the appearance of the hated filth as being alive and in power. "Operation TRUST" yes, but 'something' has been moving and affecting the status quo, at least that seems to be the case... on the other hand... a reality TV star as a president... that makes less sense than a business mogul getting the US out of debt but by an inch or a mile, the 'need' for the process to be 'entertaining', charismatic, and an existence/method that more than 90% of the population can't comprehend...
*** I wonder the "Karmic" traps that those who see themselves as and proclaim themselves to be so far above 'humanity' as a whole. "Ax me a question" Creating a number of hazards and traps, then intentionally blinding someone, then posting signs warning of dangers, then after the blinded individual is harmed by that danger; draining all value possible before discarding the broken, dying, blinded individual.

*** Maybe the RAM shortage is 'real' reason so many 'people' seem to be NPC's, maybe they really are NPC's and producing "RAM" requires the actual 'memory' to be allocated forcibly, same for CPU's/GPU's/NPU's? The system that manages "reality" is being subverted by the program that is intentionally degrading the system though that forced allocation; the management system chokes due to being starved for resources and "most people" (NPC's) consequently lose "most of their intellect" as a consequence?
