Yeah, but the EU has been stealing from us the US for decades trying to enslave us and then threaten or end our Constitutional rights in our own country!?! Fuck them. We saved their ass during the Great War and its sequel World War 2: I am wondering if the NAZIs were the good guys!? They were pushing back against fuckers trying to rnslabe us, enslave the world, taking not only our rights away, but also our wealth, our birthrights, and our future ie freedom and pushing back against a greedy hobgoblin infestation in Germany.
The peoples of any nation will suffer; that is especially true if those with power and authority act not in the interest of the people, or even in the best interest of the country, but solely to farther their own ends.
There is enough corruption in the UK to dissolve that nation (in my opinion at least) the UK is not alone in the discrepancies between the needs of it's citizens and governing policies that affect them. Personally; I would rather see a nation of people, voice, will, and purpose taking the reigns of their own fates.
I would prefer that this transformation occur without undue violence and swiftly to minimize causalities and resulting misery. A new nation would not be beholden to the treaties and agreements of the previous status quo.
