No Co2, no Us, or anything in fact. they go on about Saving the planet, but the planet saves itself from these insane leftoid nutter's that would rather destroy humanity than pointlessly take on NATURE. NATURE will always win. They try toi remove Co2 and if the level gwet's to low then the EARTH will create it. All these maniac's are doing is trying to fill a bucket with a hole in it with water, a pointless task! Coal is wonderful stuff, and the legasy left by it is so great they the hypocritical government feel the need to introduce it as they flog the already EV and NET ZERO lie to us. We all know this is about a quick BUCK. Carrying on this leftoid path is and will make even the Rich poor in the end. This is why I don't believe any of the crap. I think there has to come a stage where aenough is enough, If we don't stop the leftoids NATURE will and it wont be picky about who it affects. I'm old so I really don't give a fuck anymore, that is the nice thing about getting old. You see all the tricks when your younger and ignore them only to realize your folly when it is getting to late. Having said that I'm happier than I've ever been despite my nature of being a moaning old fart! lol! That's MY privilege!

@mrghoster: I am a little concerned about if they did pull off the ZERO carbon emissions crap - which they cannot and won't - but if they did, the world has adjusted to eating up all the CO2 and making it into plants, and methane deposits at the bottom of the ocean and conversion into carbonate rocks etc., at a hefty pace - and if the CO2 production crawls to a halt - then the massive consumption rate by the planet will cause a drought in CO2 - until the biological machinery runs it dry and then collapses to a crawl on the natural production rate..... Sort of like driving a car at 200 miles an hour and then the fuel runs out and it has to run at 20 miles an hour..... yeah anyway I know what I mean.

Nicely said my friend. It's all really about making a quick BUCK through FEAR. If politicians had to sign up for LIFE not just a few years they wouldn't be so quick to come up with this shit. Electricity like all power sources shouldd be a PART of the future not THE FUTURE. It's impossible, it's the same old "Eggs in one basket" doomed failure" With no infrastructure in place in the UK anyways for EV's and banning nearly 150 years of ICE development what are they expecting in 2030, unless the plan is to stop us being mobile which is also FLAWED, because if people have nothing to rise to they wont so the economy will continue to fail for that quick BUCK for the few. WE are beaten with that stick, because the rich have eaten the CARROT a long time ago, they have even forgotten that a society based on MERITOCRACY is a rich society. Take away HOPE or REASON you end up with an "Empire of Dirt" worth NOTHING.

It's always been that way, I don't think any mine will open? After all when was the last time government did anything for us other than using FEAR mongering that taught many of us not to trust them anymore.
