I haven't been genuinely interested in a fighting game for well over a decade- they just aren't what they used to be anymore, but you can say that for the vast majority of video games in general if you ask me. I played Tekken since the beginning but started losing interest when Tekken 6 released- combos started getting too long, but at the very least there were no supers implemented yet. Now that every fighter does that shit the natural flow of a fighting game gets disrupted by all the fluff. Soul Calibur 6 does this to an annoying degree too- it has a literal Rock Paper Scissors mechanic in it. Super annoying. Soul Calibur 1 for the Dreamcast is still my favorite fighting game to date- it's so easy to pick up and play but still has a lot of little things to learn and discover, all without the bullshit you find in modern fighters.
This "appealing to the casual crowd" stuff is diluting things to the point that games have no substance or standards anymore. I can't cope with just "good enough" like so many other people do. That's why I've been going to previous generations of games to try out games I wouldn't have in the past. It's been far more fun than trying out the stuff that's out there now. I made the mistake of buying a PS5 at launch- owned it for two years, sat there most of the time collecting dust because the 7 of the 9 exclusives for the system I didn't give a shit about. Eventually sold the system. I just stick to playing on the Nintendo Switch now, along with the seldom PC game.

Other than that LAW, FENG, ARMOR KING, GUN JACK, PAUL and many others were great to play however that rage art and rage combo Faggott shite Ruined it, when they teamed up with street fighter they got infect with the street fighter virus and got bugs in their Cunts and became delusional. Now your telling me there is this nonsense about Heat Meter fuck that FAGGOTT noise not going to waste money or time on it fuck em let them die.

For those who remembered my tekken 7 videos..... I agree wholeheartedly with this review. Fuck Tekken 8 and Fuck punk-ass Harada.
