Trump’s “Board of Peace”: $1 billion buy-in while Gaza still bleeds

Donald Trump has announced phase two of his Gaza ceasefire plan — alongside the creation of a new global body called the “Board of Peace.”

According to the board’s draft charter, countries that contribute over $1 billion in cash can secure permanent membership, bypassing term limits entirely. Originally focused on Gaza, the board’s mandate now reportedly no longer mentions Palestinian territory at all.
