Thousands march in Bangladesh

Huge crowds of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) supporters and activists rallied in the streets of Sylhet. For months now, the BNP has organized rallies and protests against the price hike of essential goods, demanding new elections and the release of Khaleda Zia, the former prime minister and BNP leader, imprisoned since 2018.
