She will tell her girlfriends what he did, and her friends will demand the same from their boyfriends, so the boyfriends will start hating him. Also, women are very curious to find out how far they can control a man, so she will keep demanding more from him. Also, his availability lowers his value in the long run, ending up in a no-respect situation. For him, simping is a lose-only strategy. It is nevertheless amazing to me how she can misread a situation so blatantly. I guess that emotional brains have something to do with it...
