Always hits a nerve when dudes are hurting because of the brainwashing from childhood about the freakn lies told to us about women by women
Yeah, that certainly made a turn for the unexpected. I'll volunteer my personal life experience and relate a similar feeling that I felt upon doing some simping behaviour as a youth. Here's my thoughts on it:
I think that when a guy (with enough genetic 'Alpha' influence or enough of a spiritual/metaphysical Divine Masculine influence) carries out some simp-y behavior like writing a love letter or white knighting or something, that Masculine influence/presence within the guy questions him harshly within his own psyche/mind. The Masculine Presence desires to cause said guy to question his own masculinity and assess WHY he has yielded his masculine power to an [often worthless in value] unworthy female. It makes sense if you think about it; it's a protective, critical psychological mechanism meant to spur corrective action by means of a sort of masculine shaming [the productive, positive kind of 'shaming']. This masculine shaming is constructive in nature and meant to correct mistakes and spur internal growth. Think of it like a man's immune system for his masculinity screaming out and alerting the man to the spiritual bloodletting he just did, and warning him to not do it again by causing him to examine his behavior and ego. Hopefully, the guy will take the hint and feel like shit about simping and giving away that masculine power and doing it in such an effeminate way that lowers his respect both from the woman's eyes and from other men!!
This is the basic inference and theory I concocted from thinking a bit deeply on this whole situation.
