There is a reason why I chose "Villainous" as my first name. I use to be such a "Good Man"...

I believed a woman on her word.
She told me she had been raped while at college in the six months between seeing each other.
I felt bad for her situation and wanted to help her any way I could. I let myself be vulnerable.
Then she told me she didn't want to press charges nor tell me who the culprit was.

It took me some time to realize that she was lying to me.

This may show a slow intelligence on my part. I don't care.
The reality is that I will never trust a woman to be honest with me again, regardless of the effort on my part.

Some may say I dodged a bullet.
Many may agree to what I am saying.
I will spend the rest of my life alone, in solitude and peace.
During this time, I will laugh at all the "pretty women" who thought their actions had no consequences.

She got married 3 times, all ending in divorce.
She wanted to be a famous actress and starlet. She currently serves tatter-tots at an Elementary School lunchroom.
