The Three Gorges Dam is the heaviest object ever built by human hands. It holds back 42 billion tons of water. And according to the engineers who built it, it is shifting.
The Dam was supposed to be a symbol of China’s eternal power—an engineering miracle designed to tame the Yangtze River forever. But 20 years later, the miracle is turning into a nightmare. From the 80 "hidden" cracks in the concrete to the terrifying reality of reservoir-induced earthquakes, the structure is fighting a losing battle against physics.
But the structural failure is only half the story.

One of my friends is a professor in Concrete Engineering and his tour / trip of China... He came back and said, "As all the shitty concrete buildings and bridges etc., all fail - there is a LOT of bad concrete all over China, and China is effectively FUCKED.
He also had the papers and all, from the people who built the dam, and they said it's as rotten as fuck - the concrete quality, the way the dam was rushed, the dam foundations etc......
Everything that is put forward, in this video is correct.
I have seen the geologists report and other engineering papers etc., and I have put up a few of these videos by these people....
The deliberate distortion of the dam picture is crap....

What is the main problems now, is the continunal erosion from water flowing through the fault lines and softer areas under the dam, the substandard concrete and the failure mode of the whole situation.
The Chinese are absolute cunts for taking short cuts and skimming money off projects etc.,
Ding Dong Cement costs $1000 a ton, and Flung Dung Cement is crap but it's gray and costs $500 a ton, and we can stretch it out with mud, to make it $200 a ton and we can skim off the $800 and make a concrete dam from shit.
HOPEFULLY when it goes, the big chunks of dam wall work loose and it pisses out heaps of water from a few major leaks under the dam wall etc.... and every one down stream can evacuate...
