They're clearly not listening, and they go full retard at the first potential sign that their beloved nazi/commie ideology & system of governance (socialism aka totalitarianism) might appear to be getting 'partly' vindicated in a non-specific future development. If everything goes well....actually even then...... anyway instead of that, however, they could listen to TFM explain the same thing over & over again for months that goes over exactly this types of situations, I.e. the regime acts erratically and in a manner that is difficult to predict. They have no compunction about destroying their economy, throwing away their people's lives or ruining their reputation, all of which they have done in order to accomplish jack point shit. This isn't a consolation price. It's not even a bronze medal. It's more like being told you're attending the trials to see if you manage to qualify. Making huge long-term blunders for largely insignificant short-term gains is not a 'win'.
