One great thing that proves how solipsistic women are, and what NPCs average men are, is that when red pill men write about how they disregard women and acquire currency, those two groups call them all incels. But when incels write about how dry their pee-pees are, those two groups claim that they're volcels that only want to date supermodels.

One of the most hilarious things is that reddit opened up a femcel subreddit, where they would talk about how they can't find a boyfriend. Men flooded the subreddit, so men were banned from the subreddit.

China is not collapsing. Canada and Mexico are not collapsing .Most of America is not collapsing.
Most common/basic products/ingredients can be imported from China or from other countries.
Even the amish shop at walmart. We are not going back to a 19th century economy.
There will not be a shortage of soap. Your simple primitive soap can not compete against modern soap.
There will still be imports from China and many other countries.

Just to clarify. A collapse is not an apocolypse. This is not a nuclear war. This is not the game Fallout. There will still be cars/boats/trains/planes/computers/technology. There will still be international trade. Everything will be "mostly normal" except in some areas there will be crime/conflict/violence/destruction/war. If want to live alone in the woods, then yes, you must make everything yourself. Or, just move to a safe area (with people) and life will mostly be normal. There is absolutely no need to live alone in the woods. This is not the end of civilization. This is not an apocolypse. There will still be modern technology. There will still be electricity, computers, internet, factories. But not in all places. Some places will turn into Detroit or into ruins.

I think TFM is right about the soap thing Kuroi. Rather than make the product make the ingredients. You could do lye with wood ash which isn't that hard but you can also create a setup to produce charcoal and from the leftover ash you can make the lye. Then with the charcoal you could also produce your own smoked meat and fish and produce jerky to sell or sell the charcoal.

You could even ask people to give you their wood ash since it's practically trash.

Not only that but what if people decide to switch to using emollients rather than soap for their body and only soap for dishes or clothes?

China is not collapsing. Almost everything needed to survive can be imported from China or from some other country, as long as you are not a pennyless loner in the woods. The amish shop at walmart too.

Water, food/drink, weapons, ammo, tools, energy/heat/fuel, and money/crypto/silver/gold to buy imported stuff.

It's impossible to make emollients sustainability in a collapse. That's way more difficult to secure all the different ingredients required(let alone sustainably), regardless of all any other factors.

@KuroiTheHentaiAmbassador: That's partly true but people could just wash themselves with just oil such as coconut oil, olive oil or even pig lard. At the same time people can resort to the very basic which is abrasive cleaning using cloths/towels or even if nothing else is available dirt. I'm just making the point that soap isn't the only option.

KuroiTheHentaiAmbassador

@RogueWizardLizard: They can't because they also don't have access to the supply chains to obtain coconut oil, olive oil, or pig lard. People vastly underestimate how much even our seemingly most basic things required a massive supply chain to be produced in the first place. You can't just make your own coconut oil or olive oil without massive farms and then use up massive amounts of the grown coconuts or olives just to produce a tiny amount of oil, and you can't grow olives(and I'd imagine coconuts too) in alaska without greenhouses in the first place, making it even more impossible. Just using water doesn't get rid of the bacteria, which is why I'm trying to find a solution that is also sustainable in alaska.

@KuroiTheHentaiAmbassador: I'm only giving different oils as an example and yes I understand about supply chains. I gave dirt as an example as well though the more clay the better. There is the saying, "Rub some dirt on it," and it's in fact actually effective. Although if you're talking about really cleaning and plenty of supply as well wood ash really is an alternative if you don't have soap and yes it is anti-bacterial. I don't think wood ash would be hard to come by either and though you'd probably want to have it more refined like just powder it's not that hard to do with a sieve. So I guess if what you're targeting is sanitation and hygiene wood ash is not a bad place to start since as I mentioned you can make lye from it and it can be obtained by producing charcoal which has its own uses as well.

I just recently got a squatty potty stool and a portable bidet and it's so much better. You will feel the difference on your first try as it's easier to perform your bowel movement and there's less of a mess. Using a bidet is better as you will feel cleaner and you'll never have that crusty feeling if some gets somewhere and dries out since there will be no poop to do so.

Squatting and bidet is cleaner, healthier and more hygienic (a word to mean cleaner and healthier) and now after using it for merely a few weeks I think anyone that does otherwise is missing out and I would go so far to call anyone that does sitting and wiping are disgusting barbaric pigs and you would understand the sentiment if you tried it out yourself.

Can't believe I was such a disgusting barbaric pig before but it's like you said it's what I was raised with but some people are raised to live in mud huts made of shit but you don't have to stay that way.

What perspective is TFM living in where 200K people is a small town? That's still fucking huge. When I think of a small town, it's like 20K people max. Which is the nearest town to me, and even that makes me nervous for the collapse. I hope I'm okay where I am, but I have a secondary fallout location to an even smaller farming town in the middle of nowhere.

I heard somewhere (was it from TFM?) that the upper limit of a town to remain truly tribal/united and interpersonally connected was something like 120 people. Any more than that and you basically don't have a cohesive group of people, anymore.

   1    0
KuroiTheHentaiAmbassador

@AvyScottAndFlower: Dunbar's number. That's more of a community just in general, but when you have something else connecting you, like a religion, a culture, or a race, it doesn't apply exactly the same way. The jews in NYC are very connected to their community and stand up for eachother, yet they have 1 million people, for example.
