TFM

it's not just Canada with this mercantilism system. All British commonwealth territories have this. In Oceania they also have a special division AND you have to pay special foreign taxes for trying to avail of cheaper fees for investing outside. (cheaper fees so you can make more money but you're punished for it with special taxes)

they also have overblown housing issues just like Canada's with environmental protectionism and nimby's and restricted land zoning

they want you to invest all your money in the domestic housing bubble pyramid or their own domestic investment funds (which have higher expenses) to sustain the mercantilism system. If you try to invest internationally to make money either through risk (like crypto) or cheaper fees, you're punished with a special tax. If you want no punishment, either invest in 1. domestic brokers only with higher fees and less risk making less money 2. or in the housing bubble pyramid. protectionist-mercantilism.

I agree with the containers. I watched one a couple of years ago and the price after land and taxes and fees and construction was almost the same as an actual house. Although they're popular with engineers who live on site.

I agree with sypher. yeah, the pacific has it's pros and cons. outside of Singapore, it is a hot and humid s#&t-hole BUT with cheaper living. the cheaper price comes with lower standard of living. but for those who wash with the soap, it is 100 percent true. "where there is poverty, there is pussy ;)"

For love robots to be effective they only need to be marginally better than today's love dolls. Love robots do not need to have any AI capabilities. Nobody is going to buy a love robot that has AI as it is an additional cost that has no benefit.

@WindSage: The issue is how much extra would you pay for such a capability? If a bench top dishwasher was more cost effective then that would probably be the better option.

Tfm thinking that sex robots will be inevitably be given rights is really stupid. Even if they are, they won't be given rights everywhere, and even in a place where they do have rights, black markets would still be a thing. Saying that the fact that women were given rights is proof that robots will be given rights is stupid logic.

Tfm went on a one hour tirade about how liking chicks with dicks makes you gay. That makes you extremely mildly bisexual at most. He said that a dick on a chick is
like a dog turd on a pizza to a straight man. Well, the average modern man is either an incel or in a dry valley. Imagine you hadn't eaten in 4 days and found a pizza with a dog turd on it. You'd probably work around it.

Then someone wrote in that his wife was a closet lesbian, and he simply replies with "there's no such thing as lesbians they're all bisexual work on your fingerbanging"

He says all lesbians are bi because they fuck each other with strapons. Doesn't make it any better for the guy with the closet lesbian wife, though, because while lesbians might be attracted to traps, but the guy that wrote in isn't a trap, so her bisexuality doesn't do him any good.

The truth is, that women are either bisexual or lesbian, but almost never straight. Lesbians are the most like straight men in their reactions to sexual content, because while "straight" women got aroused by both genders, lesbians were only aroused by women.

Tfm is simply doing the whole normie, "guy makes eye contact with another man he's clearly a fag, girl goes out and has passionate sex with her 8 friends in the ladies room, she's really straight as a ruler, and so are her friends, and they're only doing it for attention" fallacy. It's because of dominance that men think this way. They want all other men to be fags, and they also want to think that they are the primary object of desire by all other women. Why? Because that scenario would result in the highest theoretical rate of reproductive success.

I wish Tfm would stop clinging to normie habits.

TFM if you read comments, I think you gonna love this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?....v=3UH1rQW-KVM&t=

It is a hungarian TV show that also has a youtube channel, and this time the show was done in english.
They talk about a book and the author came from US to post communists countries to learn from their experiences and try to bring back that to US.
They talked about very similar ideas that TFM has about the wokeness, and general progressivism and its totalitarian properties, and that the west is lost it's balls and kind of a lost cause, and the only way forward is to outlive them in christian communities, central-east EU becoming a safe haven for normality etc...

I linked the second half, the first is about hungarian internal politics, might be boring for you. Its about the hungarian left allying with the anti semitic far right-party for power, and how they rewrite it's past even in politics.

Russians_are_from_Mongolia

All western countries have low birth rates. The core problem is women vote. More than half of all voters are women. Women vote to give rights and benefits to themselves. Men do not want to marry and have children with empowered women because empowered women are a dangerous threat to men.

   2    0
Russians_are_from_Mongolia

When men are empowered, all this stupidity will end. All or almost all the problems in western countries can be solved/fixed when women stop voting. The only way to save the west is to empower men. The only way to empower men to stop women from voting, because more than half of all voters are women, which means women control the government in countries where women vote. What do women want? women want socialism. women want the government to be their husband. Women want lots of stupid things that destroy countries.

The biggest weakness in leftist ideology is not their belief in equality, but their belief in the omnipotence/omniscience of government.
They believe reality can become whatever they want it to become, if they simply make a rule/law enforced by government.
It is not just that they want equality. They actually believe the government can transform society into anything it wants.
Leftists are unaware or in denial of the limits of government and are generally ignorant about human nature (except for themselves).
Extreme leftists have a god complex. In their minds, they are like gods with a mission to save Earth.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_complex

A god complex is an unshakable belief characterized by consistently inflated feelings of personal ability, privilege, or infallibility. A person with a god complex may refuse to admit the possibility of their error or failure, even in the face of irrefutable evidence, intractable problems or difficult or impossible tasks. The person is also highly dogmatic in their views, meaning the person speaks of their personal opinions as though they were unquestionably correct. Someone with a god complex may exhibit no regard for the conventions and demands of society, and may request special consideration or privileges.

very well said. people with no real world experience of problem solving believing that you can shape reality purely through decree. combined with coddled childish utopianism and victim fetishism, its easy to see why their projects always end in disaster. the scariest part is that their incapacity for critical self-reflection means that they will always simply find some evildoer scapegoat when their schemes inevitably fail, and they will genuinely convince themselves that they did no wrong and its some outside criminal force at faulty that needs to be punished or reeducated. frightening people.

The Fed bank can easily push markets up and down with quantitative easing.
If you can predict what the fed bank will do, you can profit big time.
But if your timing is off or if you predict wrong, then you can lose a lot.

The market is desperately trying to deflate the currency. The governments around the world need an excuse to reset to a CBDC. They can't stop the depression but they sure as hell will capitalize on it.

So, short term (6 months or so) I'm switching growth stock to money markets, putting cash to the side for the metals and commodities markets. Also holding physical metals with diamond hands.

I triggered TFM severely not too long ago. Apparently, I do so all the time. It is not my intent. Everyone, including TFM, bails out the nearest exit when simple questions are asked. In that conversation where he blocked me, he threatened to ban me from his server if I did not give him a definition of freedom. I gave him one that he could not effectively use his normal arguments to refute. He then claimed that because he read John Locke that I was somehow wrong for successfully making my point.

At the time, I was accused of not using a dictionary and that I was somehow changing the meanings of words and using sophistry. Now I'm told that I have to read entire books (as if I have not already read them, hence my questions). There is this trend among this group that meaning is somehow derived from what someone wrote down, whether its a book or a dictionary or whatever. And yet the authors have to create these definitions that you would find in a dictionary somehow. It is not as though some universal word-for-word definition exists for an idea wherein using any other words to describe something would be flat out incorrect. Dictionary authors must derive their meaning from somewhere. They too are simply trying to explain meaning.

A general description for a given term is good as far as it goes to give someone who is unfamiliar with it some idea of what something is. Yet a general description might not work for numerous reasons. Sometimes the definitions do not simply fit the word. Nor is a word the most important part of language. Its use in a sentence in many cases is a determining factor in what is meant. What TFM and his ilk like to describe as "word games" is misidentified.

"It is here that Wittgenstein’s rejection of general explanations, and definitions based on sufficient and necessary conditions, is best pronounced. Instead of these symptoms of the philosopher’s “craving for generality”, he points to ‘family resemblance’ as the more suitable analogy for the means of connecting particular uses of the same word. There is no reason to look, as we have done traditionally—and dogmatically—for one, essential core in which the meaning of a word is located and which is, therefore, common to all uses of that word. We should, instead, travel with the word’s uses through “a complicated network of similarities overlapping and criss-crossing” (PI 66)." https://plato.stanford.edu/ent....ries/wittgenstein/#L

The strange thing is that TFM employs similar techniques when he explains certain ideas, but he refuses to entertain them when it does not suit his narrative. For telling others to read books, he apparently has not read Wittgenstein. The alpha is not going to retreat and cover one's eyes as though problems go away like faces and peek-a-boo. It might help here to keep and open mind and explore something new rather than finding safe refuge in the familiar and shunning that which is different.

So, instead, my question is refused and we get an hour long rant about the homosexuality of futa (a topic of which TFM is clearly an expert). I would have left it alone had he simply answered he question. I didn't want to get into a full-blown argument. The problem is not so much the subjectivity or objectivity of morality or ethics at all. Its obvious that he wants morality to be subjective, but when you make an assertion about something, you're committing yourself to things being a certain way. When you claim something is true, but to use subjectivity in the way he is describing it (that is in the way Austrian economists use subjective value [as far as I can tell]) is simply to describe a preference that has no inherent truth value. Yet I doubt Austrian economists (at least many of them) would leap from subjective valuation in terms of preferences to a denial of moral standards for human action which are valid no matter the culture.

For example, it may be true that I like strawberry ice cream. I might think it is the best ice cream. Yet where you get into trouble is when you tell others that they are wrong for liking chocolate. This seems to track so far with how TFM describes subjectivity, at least to me. Yet science would object to this conflation. Just because it is true that I think strawberry is the best ice cream, to then say therefore it is the best ice cream for everyone is a mistake. Again, it seems like this use of subjectivity tracks with TFM and there is a likely agreement here.

Yet the content of moral ideas have another nature entirely. We tend to think of morality as behavior people ought to engage in despite their preferences. This is definitely something people want to escape for numerous reasons. To say that someone ought to do (or refrain from doing) something is to make an assertion. Assertions are either true or false. To describe morality is to make a long series of these assertions, all of which have woven into them an explanation of the way things are. Whether or not these assertions are accurate is not subject to the whims of any particular person, much in the same way mathematical assertions, for example, are either accurate or inaccurate despite some alleged preference that two and two make five (or what have you).

I won't pay for questions anymore. I don't want to piss TFM off any more than I already have. He has already blocked me on his Matrix server, so I don't have to worry about triggering him there.

Regarding my comment @40mins,

''The Cathedral'' is just like Communism;

A few ACTUAL bosses, at the TOP,
and +99% brainwashed, useful IDIOTS (who eventually get FUCKED).

* If China's goal was to eventually overthrow/invade, pushing for an internal, bloody civil war first would actually be ingenious.
(and would explain a lot of what the DemocRATS are doing, too, even after they ''won''; inflating the dollar and all other currencies, pushing the West into chaos, doubling down on CoVID,, fanning the flames of division, etc).
