This video is brought to you by a donation from James. He didn't give me a topic so I wanted to talk about the rise of the Sigma male what I believe is the latest part of the manosphere. In early 2021 someone said that Sigma males were the rarest of men and only made up 0.1% of population and this got a lot of attention. If you look at this Google Trends illustration you'll see the red line which is searches for MGTOW on Google peaking out in late 2018 with the demonitization of all MGTOW channels. But you also see the massive rise in searches for Sigma males. So what the hell is a sigma male and why does everyone care all of a sudden? They are men that are creative and introverted. To be honest I would believe that a sigma was something that had never been discovered until recently unless I heard Jordan Peterson discuss it two or three months ago in a different form. I believe that a sigma is someone high on trait openness which means they tend to be creative and prolific workers. But that they are also high in introversion. Meaning they are creative loners that march to the beat of their own drum. So the eccentric entrepreneur that works alone and invents things. Not Elon Musk. He would be more an Alpha masquerading as a sigma because he's clearly mentioned before that he needs people in his life to be happy. A sigma is the opposite. He needs to rid his life of people to feel happy. I thought Jordan Peterson was a Sigma but he cries on camera and emotion is something sigmas don't generally. Talking about this is exciting. It's like the early days of MGTOW back in the late 2000s and early 2010s. However in the early days we had The Thinking Ape and Barbarossaaaa. Today we have channels like Bloke Box and the Wise Thinker which are just text to speech channels that produce daily sigma content and are very successful financially. But they are for the most part creatively bankrupt just regurgitating the same ideas over and over again. Thinking Ape has moved in the direction of the incel black pilled man and away from MGTOW. I think the direction I'm moving towards is the fusion of MGTOW and Sigma. I think promoting the idea that Sigma men should remain confirmed bachelors and pursue what is referred to as a grind-set is the way to go. The reason for that is because I'm a Sigma based on the definition and going my own way freed me to be creative. It's been the best thing that happened to me in my life. Freeing up the innovative free thinkers in our society from their thirst for cooch would fuel innovation and progress. Sandman, I endorse this decision, and thank you for sharing a term I never looked into. I don’t need a label to self-identify, but I check in with MGTOW because it’s the frontier of natural science in a strange new sexual world.
Then I find the Sandman on the front page, clickbait like buttered popcorn, and settled in for the hypnosis.
And lo I found I am color blind, the Sigma Gray Man. Gray is another subject. But as a man in a LTR with a woman, I turned to Bachelors advice for sanity searching “Dignity and Respect” which found Terrance Popp, Grandpa Bar Bar, and YOU.
But while I listened I stayed in that relationship, through MGTOW I found Dignity and Respect are internal according to our own conscious fundamental worth as a man.
As you described sigma. I’m in ther relationship. She is uncontrollably in love with me. She weeps when I leave a situation that is no longer between reasonable people, including myself. I leave a lot of situations. The Irish goodbye- I walked away from wrong people, unable to survive an offensive assault to my fragile sanity with some banal dogma - undigested, misremembered, slurried stories without facts or experience. Basically “The News”
People say I’m q u i e t . I say people don’t listen. If I’m speaking to her and we’re interrupted, I stop talking. It’s not useful to me.
I maximize my time and projects according to my evolving values. I like to set my agenda. It is a machine. She has to find her place mindful of the fact I am a moving train and I do not haul passengers.
And she’s not happy. But she gets what she wants and needs. I can go to parties and ignore people and watch the stars in someone else’s back yard.
Call it what you will. I’m busy. Leave me alone.
As long as it's not the "zeta male" as prescribed by Peter Wright - as a way to throw men off MGTOW and towards his grift.
A "zeta male" - as lovingly described by his twitter - is quite literally just a man minus the self-determination of MGTOW, thus easier to mould and influence.
P.S. While we're on the topic of grifts, the "black pill" is the pill of PUAs and their tier 3 subs.
