Those older vets and engineers are probably on the 17th or 18th hole in their lives. Leave'em alone and let them live their later days out in some semblance of peace. But it just goes to show ya, newer tech doesn't automatically better tech. Got some friends who struggle with that concept.
The CEO of Raethon and the development time for 3D printed parts and the approval and testing times - that man is a stupid cunt.
Make 3 of them 20% under spec (stress / pressures and forces) - test them. Make 3 of them to spec - test them. Then make 3 of them 20% over spec - test them and see what designs fail or partially fail or work flawlessly.
That can be done in a week or two.
IN the mean time you can set up 50 3D printers and churn them out..... 200 or 300 a day.
