my internet speeds are so bad right now, that it's become a much better viable option to download this at the lowest resolution just to listen to it over streaming it, because the buffer stops in the middle of listening, it's such a drag as i thought i fixed this issue last night when i updated my windows and my wireless adapter. i was getting around 15MBps which is damn good in comparison to what i'm getting now.

but for some reason my phone is getting 24MBps on the same network. WTF? do i need an new wireless adapter or something? or is this some dumb windows ten bullshit?

I've been hearing pretty consistently that ISPs have been saturated with users at all hours due to the government lockdowns forcing a lot of people to stay in a lot more often. I've been told that this is even worse during holiday period but I'm going to guess it won't matter this time since people aren't traveling as much. I'm not even from the U.S. but I can vouch for 2 nations that are having this problem across the board. NOT SAYING YOU'RE WRONG, just saying maybe it's just saturation.

@RoboCat: that's a fare assment, but i do think it's my adapter because my phone does just fine on the same network. remember a few years ago when we all had high speed internet without needing to pay extra for faster speeds because it was all in your plan? well with the lockdowns, it seems like we might need to repeal that damn law back to how it was before, oddly it's almost like these companies knew that this was going to happen... or i'm just going into conspiracy theory mode and it's just an coincidence.
