Cool - I am amazed at just how many things there are to do and how many clever people there are doing them....

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: I've posted a series this morning on my channel for you - "The Pyramid Code" It looks at every angle on what they may have been. The quality is reasonable but it is VHS to AVI but watchable, Enjoy.

@mrghoster: I once converted like 200 cassette tapes to digital - in the Real Media Format - which was a DRM proprietary prison for my own recordings - and then I broken them out and made them into the universal MP3. Many of the tapes were very old and were copies of copies of copies etc., so I understand.... AND unless some frequency specific filtering etc., was used, they are always going to be whistley and muffled and kind of shitty audio.

@mrghoster: Starting to have a look at it and when all things are considered, it's fairly good.... But the differences between converting NEW high definition digital into VHS and converting really OLD VHS recordings, into digital - well - this is as good as it gets. "It's not perfect, but it's perfect enough".
