For years now we have been told that the internet is not actually real life, that it is largely separate from real human existence and there was indeed a time when this was true but that is not the case anymore and has not been for some time; people need to realise that this is only going to become more the case and get much worse.

I only use IG to communicate with one person because my fb account got nuked. I got so sick of ethots sending requests I posted a dead animal and set it to private. Haven't had an issue since. Other than that I don't use antisocial media.
